Tim Burton Story Time

Congratulations on Burton getting his Hollywood Walk of Fame star .

Tim Burton started at Cal Arts and then as a Disney animator himself. Burton worked for the company from 1981 to 1984.

A story like the It crowd Noel Feilding hiding under the desks.

Little Mermaid, Aladdin, and Hercules directors John Musker & Ron Clements once said that Burton hated working at Disney so much that Burton would literally spend days hiding in the closet and under his desk. His drawings were not as of Disney style during the time.

"You'd open up the closet and Tim would be standing there. 'Oh, hey Tim, another rough day, huh?' and he'd just glare at you. 'Hey we're all going to lunch, wanna come?' and he'd just keep glaring at you. 'OK, well, see you after lunch,' and you'd close the door and leave him there."
