went walking around the Halloween Scavenger Hunt Through Downtown Mesa was fun. I had already met the pumpkin carver Ray Villafane in Rockford years ago, nice guy.. I love his work, he lives out here with his wife and two daughters. But due to covid and all, everything was behind glass this year. Mesa Arts Center presents Ray Villafane’s Strange Encounters Exhibition — Halloween-theme works by the internationally acclaimed sculptor, pumpkin carver and creative installation designer. The exhibition features Halloween carvings, humorous vignettes and creepy characters in 15 installations outdoors and in store windows throughout downtown Mesa — all visible out of doors for safe, distanced family fun.
